My sheets smell musty even after washing. What is actually going wrong?

Can you get older stains out of guest sheets?
Sometimes. Fresh marks usually respond well; anything that has sat for months, or has already been through heat, is often fixed in the fibre and will not lift completely. We check the linen when it comes in, tell you what we think will shift, and treat accordingly. It is better than handing back a set you thought was rescued and discovering the problem when a guest does.
