In Queluz and the estates around it, most blocks went up between the nineteen-seventies and the nineties, with stacks and branch pipes that have never been cleaned since. The block management side is decisive here. Because the stack serves several flats, a partial job paid for by one owner alone rarely pays off, and what works is treating the whole run with the manager coordinating access to whichever flats are needed. We always hand over a report with images, which serves both to justify the expense at a residents' meeting and to plan the next clean. We work Monday to Saturday, from nine in the morning to eight in the evening, we attend first to homes with water escaping, and we say clearly when the visit falls to the following morning.
