Is it a problem that I have to park on the street?
Not at all, it is how most of our work here is done. What we need is room to walk right round the car and a reasonable certainty it will not be blocked in. Because we use so little water there is no hose, no spray over the pavement and nothing going into the gully, which is what keeps neighbours comfortable with it.
The dog rides in the back every weekend. What can you actually achieve?
A very large improvement, and usually more than people expect once the boot liner comes out and the carpet is brushed and vacuumed properly. What we will not claim is a boot with no hair at all. Could you clean under the bonnet too?
Not with water under pressure, no. Engine bays are full of connectors and electronics that do not forgive being soaked, and a careless wash there can turn into an electrical fault. If the bay genuinely needs cleaning, that is a job for a workshop that can do it in a controlled way. We stay with the cabin, the boot and the outer panels.
