Inside the flats the pattern is that of any modern home: a kitchen sink full of fat, a dishwasher that drains badly, hair in the shower and wipes in the toilet. On those jobs we always ask whether any neighbour has the same symptom, because the answer changes the work. Access is normally straightforward, with parking by the building and a service lift available, which helps us fit visits in at short notice. We are available Monday to Saturday, from nine in the morning to eight in the evening, we give priority to jobs with water on the floor, and we say openly when the diary only allows us to come the following morning.
