Upholstery & Mattress Cleaning in Oeiras

About our service in Oeiras

Access is the practical thing to settle first. Many of the newer developments here will not let a trade vehicle through without a name on a list, and some restrict the service lift to particular hours. Tell us the condominium's procedure when you book, whether the porter can let us in, and where we can park close enough to run a hose from a tap. We are also frequently given a key or a code because nobody is home during the day, and that works well as long as we agree in advance what we are cleaning, in which rooms, and how to leave the flat. We photograph anything we find that was not in the brief, so you are not surprised on your return. Pets appear in a lot of these households, and they generate the two problems we deal with most. The first is hair, worked into the weave of a sofa and into rug pile, which has to be extracted dry before any water goes near it or it mats. The second is odour, from oils in the fabric where an animal sleeps and occasionally from an accident that soaked through into the foam. Extraction addresses both properly, because it rinses the fibre and pulls the liquid back out rather than laying a scent over the top. Where a dog has a favourite cushion, we clean the whole piece so it dries and wears evenly instead of leaving one bright patch. Because the house is often empty, drying is easier here than in most places we work, and it is worth using that. Extraction leaves fabric damp for hours; a flat that nobody comes home to until evening, with a window left safely ajar, gives the textiles the airflow they need. We still ask you not to plan on sleeping on a cleaned mattress that night, and we schedule bedrooms early in the visit for that reason. On older marks we are plain: we test discreetly, tell you which we expect to shift, and leave burns, bleach spots and long-dried rings alone rather than charging you to attack something that will not move.
