Damp is the recurring theme in the older part of Algés. It looks fine for a while, then it blows in patches and the damp reappears further up the wall. If you are coordinating several trades, the order to keep is plumber and electrician, then bricklayer, then painter. The practical constraints deserve a mention because they affect the plan more than the technique. Finding somewhere legal to stop a van near Algés centre is genuinely difficult, materials often have to be carried a distance and then up stairs, and rubble has to leave the site in bags to a point we agree in advance rather than accumulate in a shared entrance.
