Personal Chef at Home in Oeiras
In Oeiras many of our bookings run to a real timetable: a working lunch at home before a meeting, a dinner with clients that cannot be allowed to drag on. We cook with one eye on the clock, serve without breaking into the conversation, and leave with the kitchen in order.

About our service in Oeiras
Being close to Taguspark, Lagoas Park and the offices of Porto Salvo means a good share of the work at home is professional in nature. That changes how we prepare. We fix the exact time of each moment of the service well in advance — starter, main, pudding, coffee — and plan the menu so that no dish depends on an unpredictable point of cooking. We choose preparations that can wait a few minutes without spoiling, because a conversation running long is normal and the food should not punish the people having it. When the host asks for discretion, we work with the kitchen door closed, serve in silence and stay out of the discussion. The houses of Oeiras centre, Paço de Arcos and Santo Amaro are mostly recent flats or villas on planned estates, with well-equipped kitchens that are frequently open to the dining room. We confirm beforehand whether there is a door or a peninsula separating the two areas, how much china there is from the same set, and how access to the estate and visitor parking works — in the business districts, lunchtime is precisely when pulling up is hardest. For people who are out all day, we also prepare the week's meals, in individual portions ready to take to the office the following day. Two things sit outside our service, and it is better to know before booking. We are not a catering company with a kitchen of our own: everything is cooked in the client's home, which means the kitchen has to be available throughout the agreed period. And we neither supply nor serve alcoholic drinks, as we hold no licence to sell drinks — if the lunch calls for wine, the host buys it and opens it. Where a guest has a serious allergy, we make clear that in a domestic kitchen the risk of cross-contamination cannot be eliminated.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about a personal chef at home in Oeiras:
What does the quote for a working lunch depend on?
On the number of places at the table, the number of courses, the hours we are in the house, whether there is table service and who does the shopping. We look at the kitchen through photographs on WhatsApp or on a site visit, and send a no-obligation quote.
The lunch has to finish on time. Is that possible?
It is, and we plan for it. We fix the time of each course, avoid preparations with an uncertain finish and have everything brought forward before the guests arrive. If the conversation runs on, the menu was chosen to survive a few minutes of waiting.
We would rather nobody was visible during the meeting.
That is no trouble. We work in the kitchen with the door closed, serve only at the agreed moments and stay out of the conversation. The cleaning is done as the service goes on, so we can leave quietly at the end.
