Personal Chef at Home in Queluz
In Queluz, Massamá and Monte Abraão we work mostly for families where nobody eats at the same hour: one gets in from classes, another from a shift, another off the train. The answer is not a gala dinner — it is food already made, in portions, ready to reheat without losing quality.

About our service in Queluz
The estates built between the seventies and the nineties that dominate the area produced T2 and T3 flats with reasonably sized kitchens, though with little free worktop and, very often, the fridge pushed out onto the glazed balcony. Before proposing a plan we look at three things: how many burners the hob has, whether the oven works properly, and above all how much space there is in the fridge and the freezer, because that is what decides how many meals it makes sense to leave ready at a time. In households on clashing schedules, individual portions are almost always the better option; where at least Saturday dinner brings everyone together, we mix family-sized portions with individual ones. The work is done in a single session. We prepare dishes that behave well in storage and reheat without falling apart — stews, baked rice, meat in sauce, pulses, sautéed vegetables finished at the last minute — and leave out whatever only works freshly made. Each box is labelled with the dish and the date, and separated between what stays in the fridge for the first days and what goes in frozen. We leave a simple written note of how long each meal needs in the microwave or the oven, because somebody arriving late should not have to guess. We also cook one-off dinners at home, for birthdays and family gatherings, with the menu agreed well in advance. On the limits of the service, three honest notes. We do not bring food cooked elsewhere: we cook in your kitchen, with your equipment, which is why we ask for photographs beforehand. We neither supply nor serve alcoholic drinks, as we hold no licence to do so. And if someone in the house has a serious allergy, we warn that in a kitchen in daily use, shared with other people, the absence of cross-contamination cannot be assured.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about a personal chef at home in Queluz:
How is the quote calculated?
What counts is the number of meals you want left ready, how many people each one feeds, how varied the menu is, the hours of work and who does the shopping. We talk on WhatsApp with photographs of the kitchen and send a no-obligation quote.
Does reheated food actually taste good?
It does, if the dishes are chosen for it. We work with stews, baked rice, meat in sauce and pulses, which improve from one day to the next, and avoid fried food and pasta, which only work freshly made.
My freezer is small. Can you still do it?
Yes, by adjusting the quantity. We count the available space before deciding how many dishes to prepare, favour stackable boxes and leave more meals in the fridge for the first days instead of freezing everything.
