Demineralised water in volume, a soft brush, water pressure kept low and steady, and the roadside film given time to release rather than being forced off. A pressure lance never leaves the van on a job like this: at close range it will drive water past the frame gasket, and behind that gasket sit the junction box and the cabling. Nothing gritty goes near the glass either, because the anti-reflective treatment is a surface layer and once it has been scuffed the module stays permanently duller. Acidic and alkaline products are out on the same grounds. On a corporate installation still inside its manufacturer's warranty there is a paperwork risk too, since claims are routinely refused where the cleaning method was wrong. Timing is set by the glass temperature, not by the diary. A dark array on an exposed flat roof gets hot well before noon, and cold water arriving on hot glass is a thermal shock that can start micro-cracks in the cells, so we work early, late in the afternoon, or under cloud. Once the rows are rinsed we wipe the frames, check the roof outlets and report what the visual inspection turned up. A scorched connector, cable stripped by a rodent, a cracked pane or a delaminating cell is photographed and handed back for your installer or a certified electrician. We are cleaners: we do not open inverters, unplug DC connectors or lift panels off their rails.
