Air Conditioning Installation in Lumiar

About our service in Lumiar

We start by asking for the regulations or speaking to the building management. On the gated estates of the Alto do Lumiar, around the Quinta das Conchas and in Telheiras, it is common to find it written that outdoor units go behind a screen, in a specified colour, aligned to one level and never facing the internal roadway. Some managers also ask for proof of the engineer's credentials. Dealing with this first avoids the most unpleasant outcome in this trade: a finished installation the association orders to be taken down weeks later. Where the designated position is not enough for the home, we set out the technical alternative in writing so it can be taken to a meeting. The construction of these estates works in our favour indoors. There are bulkheads in the corridors, conduit voids between the service balcony and the rooms, and wardrobes backing onto partition walls that serve as pull-through boxes. That makes it possible to fit three or four indoor units without cutting a single visible chase, which in a flat with recent finishes makes all the difference. For three- and four-bedroom flats, the rule in this neighbourhood, we propose a multi-split: one outdoor unit feeds the living room and the bedrooms, respecting the single position the association allows and keeping the rest of the balcony free. The extra care goes into sizing room by room, because these flats often have a south-facing living room with a large glazed opening and internal bedrooms that are considerably cooler. Fitting the same output everywhere leads to freezing bedrooms and bills with no justification. We calculate room by room, distribute the outputs across the indoor units according to what each one has to deal with, and leave quiet mode set up for night-time use in the bedrooms, which is the request we hear most from households with young children. Once the installation is finished, we walk the rooms with you and check temperatures and airflow at each unit.
