We work waterless or with a very small amount, applied to the panel and taken away on microfibre. There is no hose, no bucket tipped out, no foam spreading across the floor towards a neighbour's space and, critically, nothing containing detergent finding its way into the garage gully. That is the objection buildings raise to car washing on the premises, and it is the one we do not trigger. The same applies on the street. A kerbside wash with a hose sends everything you have just lifted off the car straight into the nearest storm drain. Our method leaves the dirt on a cloth that goes away with us. It also means we can work in a residents' parking area without soaking the ground or inconveniencing anybody parked either side, which in this municipality is frequently the difference between the job being possible and not. Where the car park is shared property, the visit should be agreed with the condomínio or the building manager before the day. We are not precious about it and we will speak to them directly if you would rather, but a building that knows we are coming is a building where nobody has an argument in the basement. Beyond that we need the ordinary things: room to open the doors, enough headroom, some ventilation and reasonable light, though we carry our own. The cleaning follows the usual order, vacuum before surfaces, mats out and done separately, seat runners and console gaps worked over by hand, upholstery treated according to what it is made of, and glass finished last so nothing fogs it afterwards. And the usual limits, stated up front: no bodywork, no dent removal, no promise to remove scratches or correct paintwork, and no pressure washing of an engine bay.
