We establish the species before cutting, and a protected tree goes through an authorisation rather than a decision on the day. All cut material leaves for a licensed disposal point, with none of it dealt with by fire on the ground. If a parcel is heading into construction, say so, because stumps, levelling and plant access are a separate scope.
