About our service in Agualva-Cacém
In one of the most densely populated areas in the country, a support office, an agency or a service counter can receive dozens of people a day in a small space. The dirt concentrates in three places and it is always the same three: the floor of the entrance and the waiting area, the surfaces everyone touches, and the restroom. That is where we put the effort. The entrance floor is vacuumed and washed on every visit, because the sand and water brought in from the street scratch the flooring and, on wet days, make it dangerous; we always sign the floor when we wash it during opening hours. Where there is fixed matting, we vacuum underneath it as well, where grit builds up unseen. Contact points are handled to a fixed method: counter, handles, switches, handrails, waiting room chairs by the armrests, ticket dispensers and card terminals. The last of these are cleaned dry, with microfibre, so keypads and screens are not damaged. In public restrooms one pass a day is rarely enough; where footfall is high we propose two, one of them at midday, with paper and soap restocked and drains and cisterns checked. An empty dispenser at eleven in the morning is exactly the kind of failure the end client notices straight away. In the internal offices the service is the classic one: desks, filing without touching documents, IT equipment cleaned dry, vacuuming and washing of floors, internal glazing and the kitchenette where there is one. We also run a periodic deep clean covering upholstered chairs, skirting, window frames and high surfaces, which in a space with this much movement deteriorates faster than in a closed office. We work Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 8pm, with visits fitted in before opening, over the lunch break or after closing; we do not provide a night or Sunday service.
